According to a study at Johns Hopkins University it was shown that Meditation helps relieve symptoms for stress and depression.
Mayo Clinic lists Anxiety, Depression, Insomnia, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease and Asthma among the areas that Meditation can help with. Just as with Mindfulness specifically, Meditation in general has been proven in study after study, at every major research institution, to be highly beneficial.
Clients will work one on one with a Meditation instructor who is trained in various meditation techniques. Our Wellness course also comes with the option of EEG neurofeedback software. Neurofeedback not only measures brainwaves but helps guide the client to the desired brain state. The software monitors and tracks meditation. Neurofeedback will help clients monitor and track their stress reduction and meditation with real time electroencephalography (EEG) technology.
As a reminder, we do not offer any treatment for anxiety or depression. This is not a clinic. We are a wellness center. We offer complimentary, natural strategies for wellbeing. There are FREE group Meditation sessions every morning and evening (times TBD). Our meditation room has a surround sound speaker system and carefully chosen meditation chairs and cushions.
